Myles Martin

Myles is entering his second year wrestling for the Buckeyes at the 184 pound weight class. During Myles freshman year, he became just the 15th true freshman to ever win a NCAA championship. He also was the first 11 seed to win a championship since 1979. He went 33-6, setting a new Buckeye record for wins by a true freshman.

Along with his NCAA Championship, Myles placed third at Big Ten’s and was an AWN All-Rookie Team selection. Prior to becoming a Buckeye, Myles wrestled in New Jersey for McDonogh. He was a four-time national prep finalist and a junior national freestyle champion during his tenure at McDonogh. Myles was also a two-time Beast of the East champion as well.
